I work for the art museum in Brescia (Italy) and I am trying to contact the art and history museums in Cernauti (Cernovitz), looking for information about a XVII century stendard that seems to have been given by emperor Rodolfo II in 1606 to the Italian captain Tomaso Caprioli. Greetings..my mothers maiden name was Erica ARDELEARNUE. She was born in Piatra-neamt, Romania. She passed away last year and my wife and I are bringing her ashes back to her birthplace. Have you any information regarding her family? Her fathers name was Constantine and her mother was Rosa, they had 4 daughters Erica, Maria, Erna and Lydia. Congratulation for the site. I am originating in Radauti, or I lived during 21 years. Since, I live Paris with my 2 children and my wife which is Parisian. The summer 2005 I returned in Bucovina for the first time since my departure.
I was fascinated by the beauty of the area of my childhood, area which I have rediscovery. Before that, I had not carried out the exception of this landscape raised by the mystery of the monasteries. I encourage all French, and not only, to visit one of the last still wild places, at prices of most accessible.

Could you give me the name of these small animals which one can observe on the Delta of the Danube (they are these small animals which appears to be upright and to discuss between them - they are very numerous - there is always one of them which seems to supervise and as soon as a danger is profiled, it prevents the others which disappear as by enchantment). It measure approximately 25/30 cm, are very thin and are held upright on their forefeet. Thank you in advance, I did not know with whom to address to me for this information (I consulted a heap of site on the Delta of the Danube but it is not mentioned any these animals that friends could observe it there at a few years).
