The Siret


Siret River has its source in the Carpathians (Eastern) North, Ukraine, in the region of Bukovina North at an altitude of 1238m.

Total length: 706 km to the Danube (near the town of Galati). Siret length is 559 km on the Romanian territory.

The river basin: 44 855 km2.


Its tributaries are: Moldova, Bistrita, Suceava, Barlad, Trotus, Putna, Buzau.

The cities through which the Siret are Siret (city), Pascani, Roman, Bacau, Adjud, Galati.
