The church of Balinesti

The Tautu adviser made build in 1493 on his property located at edge of Siret, an imposing church with obvious influence of the Rebirth.
This one is one of the monuments today most representative of the time of Etienne the Large one.

Architecture: Rectangular building of plan, whose vault is in cradle, without apses, with the polygonal pronaos and the tower bell-tower leaned with south, opposite the entry.
The porch decorated with sculptures of blazing style, frontages covered with glazed ceramic discs.

Below the cornice, the base, the framings, the veins of arch square have innumerable elements of Gothic style.

The interior painting of a great artistic value this work carried out by a team directed by the painter Gravriil Iermonahul.

The portrait of the founder of the votive table represents one of paintings them more important of the kind in Moldavia of the time.

The external painting probably carried out in second half of the XV 2nd century, remains by places, the church shelters the funerary stones founders.
