Bachelor of Fine Arts National School of Fine Arts with Dimitrie Paciurea and Oscar Han as teachers.

In 1928 early in the Exhibition of Painting and Sculpture in Bucharest.

In 1930 left for Paris and received a scholarship from the school Romanian Fontenay-aux-Roses.

He enrolled at the Académie de la Grande Chaumiere or he works with Professor Joseph Bernard.

In 1932 he received an honourable mention from the League of French artists for "Autoporté" briefed the spring fair in Paris.

In 1933 he returned to Romania, participates in national exhibitions and became a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts iasi. Later in Cluj and from 1966 teachers sculpture at the Institute of Fine Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu" in Bucharest.

In 1956 participates in the Sculpture Biennale in Venice. And in 1961 the contemporary sculpture exhibition organized the Rodin Museum in Paris.

In 1975 he donated to his hometown of many of his drawings and sculptures.

In 1978 he became president of the Union of Plastic Artists, received the Award for Excellence in culture and becomes an honorary member of the Academy.

In his works is said to have used the line of Art Nouveau and the creative spirit of Art Deco but he managed as 'imposer by a personal style from 1924.

His works are made of wood, stone, marble, but the preferred material of the artist was the bronze. "The bronze is still something the heat of fire that has created, changed into a form deep, another life, another way to live and breathe," said the artist.

The Museum Ion Irimescu is the largest collection of a single author in the country, it contains more than 300 sculptures and drawings 1000 dealing with major themes of our existence, mythology, motherhood, music, man as a model the universe.

He died at the age of 102 years in Falticeni, where he was born and where he spent most of his life and his career. (Born February 27, 1903-Falticeni died on October 28, 2005 Falticeni Romania)
