Maria Ilut

Born on 23 February 1955 to Crasna, Bukovina singer of traditional music.

She studied at the Institute of Arts from Chisinau Gavril Musicescu. Chanteuse in ethno folk Ensemble "Talancuta" in "Stefan Vida" (Stephen the Great) and "Busuioc Moldovenesc.

She teaches traditional song for children "Palais des enfants" of Chisinau in 1987.

 


She received the Grand prize in a folk song "Tamara Ciobanu" Chisinau, 1986, winner of the songs of Romanians from Drobeta Turnu Severin, 1989) Festival and Competition "Miorita" of Targoviste 1996.
In its repertoire there are dozens of songs in a specific region ethnoecology which has retained its authenticity. (The Northern Bukovina)
