The mountains of the north of Moldavia are not as abrupt as Bucegi, it are wise and peaceful, covered forest of conifers and leafy trees or open clearings flowered.

Iasi Palais de la Culture - Bucovine.com
Legendary Iasi city of Romania, one is moved only by pronouncing its name.

For the Rumanian people it became a symbol for a long time. The beauty of the site, the harmony of the seven hills on which it is built engage us like many others before us to compare the position of the city with that of Rome.

It is enough to think that it is here that one follows the traces of Etienne the Great one - Stefan Cel Mare , of Michel the Brave man, Alexandru Ion Cuza, of Kogalniceanu,

that one crosses the threshold of the houses or lived Eminescu , Creanga , Sadoveanu, that with each step one finds the memory of Asachi.

Thanks to its very whole population, the city Moldova always was in the heart of the Romania history, in the heart of the combat delivered for the assertion of the national existence. The city became, of the kind a cradle of the history of Romania.

BUCOVINE.com proposes to you to discover this area of Central Europe of today and to plunge in its history , its geography , its traditions and its cultural print .
